A mid-century modern wall sconce with an adjustable arm and a sculptural hourglass shade, perfect for focused reading light or ambient accent in bedrooms and hallways.
The Soriano wall sconce combines a tuxedo-inspired silhouette with functional articulation. Its matte black steel shade pivots on an arm that extends up to 27 inches, letting you direct light exactly where needed. The clean, modern lines and rich black finish make it a versatile accent for transitional, mid-century, or contemporary interiors.
Best for
- Bedrooms as a reading sconce beside the bed, mounted 60-66 inches above the floor
- Hallways and corridors as accent lighting, spaced 4-6 feet apart
- Living rooms over an accent chair or sofa end for task lighting
- Damp-rated bathrooms (non-shower areas) as a vanity or mirror sconce
- Home offices as an adjustable desk-side light source
Not ideal for
- Large rooms as the sole light source - 100W max bulb provides accent-level brightness
- Shower or steam areas - damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you need the arm fully extended
How bright is it?
Accepts one 100W medium-base bulb (not included). With a standard 100W incandescent bulb, expect about 1600 lumens - bright enough for reading or accent lighting. Dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature depends on your choice of bulb. The matte black shade directs light downward and outward, creating a warm, focused pool of light. Dimmable with a compatible dimmer switch for mood control.
Sizing and fit
The sconce extends 27 inches from the wall (fully extended) and has a backplate of 5.25 x 5.25 inches. Fixture height is 6.25 inches. The articulating arm includes two 12-inch rods and one 6-inch rod for flexible positioning. Works well on walls with standard 8-foot ceilings.
