A 48-inch oval coffee table hand-assembled from solid teak, for living rooms and covered outdoor patios that want a rugged, organic centerpiece.
The Gareis Coffee Table is a mosaic of cross-cut teak grains and natural knots, each segment hand-assembled to create a one-of-a-kind surface. The raw, sculptural form brings the beauty of the outdoors into your space, and because solid wood moves with temperature and humidity, small cracks and uneven surfaces may develop over time - adding to its authenticity. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, it's a statement piece that ages gracefully.
Best for
- Living rooms with a large sofa or sectional, where a 48-inch table anchors the seating area
- Covered patios, porches, or sunrooms that can handle a natural wood piece
- Spaces styled with organic, bohemian, or rustic decor
- Homes that appreciate natural materials and the character of solid wood
- Pairing with low-profile seating for easy reach from every seat
Not ideal for
- Small living rooms under 10x10 ft - the 48-inch length may overwhelm the space
- Homes seeking a perfectly smooth, uniform surface - the natural knots and grain variations are part of the design
- Uncovered outdoor areas exposed to direct rain or harsh sun, as the wood may weather significantly
Style and finish
The table's natural teak finish showcases the wood's rich, warm tones and distinctive grain patterns. The oval shape softens the visual weight, while the hand-assembled segments create a sculptural, almost mosaic-like texture. It fits seamlessly into organic modern, coastal, and rustic design schemes.
Materials and care
Crafted from solid teak wood, a naturally durable hardwood. To maintain its appearance, clean with a soft, dry cloth. For outdoor use, consider applying a teak sealer to protect the wood. Care instructions beyond this are not specified by the manufacturer.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 48 inches wide x 24 inches deep x 16 inches high. The low 16-inch height works well with standard sofas and chairs. Weighing 145 lbs, it's a substantial piece that will stay put. Ensure your entryway and path can accommodate its size and weight.
