A 27-inch two-light LED pendant in Modern Brass steel with floating white etched acrylic discs, made for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
Moleculis treats modern minimalism as an art exercise. Shallow translucent acrylic and metal reflectors float along a slender stem, and the discs work together to diffuse and bounce light into a totemic mobile of ambient shapes. The Modern Brass finish adds warmth, while the white etched matte acrylic softens the glow.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, hung singly or in a row of two or three
- Dining rooms with modern or transitional furniture
- Foyers and stairwells where a sculptural statement is wanted
- Open-concept living and dining spaces with higher ceilings
- Hospitality and commercial spaces with a warm contemporary palette
Not ideal for
- Sloped ceilings - this pendant is not compatible with sloped ceiling mounting
- Low ceilings under 8 ft if you want the full 144-inch hang length
- Rustic or farmhouse interiors where the brass and acrylic look would feel out of place
How bright is it?
825 lumens total from two integrated 21W LEDs - roughly comparable to a bright 60W incandescent bulb. It provides strong ambient light over a table or island but is not intended as the sole light source for a large room.
Light color and feel
2700K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. CRI 90 renders colors accurately, which is helpful over a dining table or kitchen island. Dimmable with a TRIAC dimmer.
Sizing and fit
27 in diameter x 18 in high, 9 lbs. Height adjusts from 21.25 in to 156.75 in with a 144-inch coax cord and a 4.75 in round canopy. The 18 in shade top is 1.5 in high. Works well over standard 36-inch kitchen islands and 30-inch dining tables.
