A tall one-light wall sconce with a conical white strie glass shade and warm brass finish, sized for bedrooms, hallways, and baths.
The Brevard sconce stands 17.75 inches tall, with a slim conical shade of white strie glass that carries soft wisps and swirls - detail that reads beautifully whether the light is on or off. The warm brass finish adds a classic, slightly vintage note that suits traditional and transitional interiors. It is a quiet, elegant accent rather than a room-filling light.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading or accent sconce
- Hallways and stairwells where a slim vertical light fits tight wall space
- Bathrooms and powder rooms flanking a mirror
- Entryways and dining rooms that need a warm decorative accent
Not ideal for
- Shower stalls or exposed outdoor areas - this sconce is damp rated, not wet rated
- Rooms that need a bright primary light - one 60W bulb gives accent-level output
- Wide walls where a single narrow sconce would look undersized
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. With one 60W-equivalent LED bulb, expect roughly 800 lumens - about as bright as a 60W incandescent. That is accent and ambient light, not a primary room light. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer because the bulb is not included.
Light color and feel
Color temperature follows your bulb. Warm white (2700K-3000K) suits the vintage strie glass and warm brass; 4000K reads crisper and more modern. The sconce is dimmable, so a compatible dimmer lets you soften it for evening use.
Sizing and fit
17.75 inches tall, 5.5 inches wide, and 6 inches from the wall. The 5.13 x 5.13 inch backplate fits standard junction boxes. The shade is 12 inches tall. Mounts with the shade facing down. Works well on walls where a slim vertical fixture is needed.
