A single crackle-glass pendant for kitchen islands, dining nooks, and anywhere you want a jewel-like focal point.
The Adair pendant pairs a warm brass finish with a shade of clear crackle glass, whose intricately textured surface scatters light into a soft, sparkling glow. At just 8 inches wide it works beautifully on its own over a sink or reading corner, and it looks even better grouped in twos or threes along a counter. The vintage-inspired silhouette keeps it at home in transitional and traditional rooms.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars - hang two or three in a row for even task light
- Dining rooms and breakfast nooks with 8-9 ft ceilings
- Entryways and foyers where a single small pendant makes a first impression
- Bedrooms and reading corners used as a soft accent light
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this pendant is rated for dry locations only
- Rooms where you need a single fixture to light the whole space; one 60W bulb is accent-level light
- Very low ceilings if you want the full 71-inch drop
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose - the fixture accepts one bulb up to 60W. With a standard 60W-equivalent LED you get roughly 800 lumens, about as bright as a traditional 60W incandescent. That is ideal for accent and task lighting over a counter, not as the only light in a large room.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is set by your bulb, not the fixture, so you can choose warm 2700K for a cozy golden feel or 3000K for a cleaner white. The clear crackle glass softens and scatters the beam, so the light reads as sparkle rather than a hard point source. The fixture is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 8 in wide, 8 in deep, and 17 in tall, with an adjustable hanging height from 17.5 in to 71 in using the included four 12-inch downrods and one 6-inch downrod. The 5.12 in canopy suits standard junction boxes. For a kitchen island, leave about 30-36 in between the bottom of the shade and the countertop.
