A 15-inch semi-flush mount light with a sculptural matte black steel shade, sized for bedrooms, hallways, and other rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings.
The Wisp collection trades straight lines for gentle, flowing curves, giving this semi-flush mount a soft, modern silhouette that reads almost like a piece of sculpture. The single metal shade is finished in matte black, a crisp, low-sheen neutral that works with industrial, modern farmhouse, and contemporary interiors. Because it mounts close to the ceiling, it works in rooms where a hanging pendant would feel too low or too busy.
Best for
- Bedrooms with standard 8-foot ceilings, mounted as a central ceiling light
- Hallways and entryways where a low-profile light keeps the path clear
- Living rooms and sitting areas that need soft ambient light rather than a bright task light
- Modern farmhouse or industrial rooms with black hardware and dark accents
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture carries an ETL listing but no damp or wet location rating is specified by the manufacturer
- Large open rooms over 200 sq ft where a single 100W fixture will not provide enough light
- Rooms where you want a hanging statement piece - this mounts flush to the ceiling
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. This fixture takes one 100W medium base bulb, which is roughly equivalent to a bright standard incandescent - enough for ambient lighting in a bedroom or hallway, but not intended as the sole light source for a large room.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb you install. With a 2700K-3000K bulb it produces a warm, golden glow similar to traditional incandescent, which flatters skin tones and warm wood interiors. With a 4000K bulb it reads cooler and more modern. The fixture is not listed as dimmable by the manufacturer; dimming capability depends on the bulb and wall switch you use.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 14.5 in L x 14.5 in W x 10 in H, with a 5 in W x 0.75 in L canopy. At 10 inches tall it suits ceilings 8 feet and higher and leaves comfortable headroom in bedrooms and hallways. The 14.5-inch diameter covers a small to medium room footprint; for rooms larger than about 200 sq ft, consider pairing it with additional lighting.
