A 16-inch semi-flush mount ceiling light with scalloped amber glass shades, finished in mottled cocoa steel - ideal for bedrooms, hallways, and foyers.
The Whitecap collection pairs soft, scalloped glass with a graceful silhouette for a look that feels both modern and romantic. The mottled cocoa finish adds depth and warmth, while the amber glass shades diffuse light into a rich, golden glow. At just over 10 inches tall, it hugs the ceiling without sacrificing presence.
Best for
- Bedrooms 10x12 ft or larger, mounted as a central ceiling light
- Hallways and foyers where a low-profile fixture is needed
- Dining rooms and kitchens with standard 8-9 ft ceilings
- Living rooms that need warm ambient light without a large chandelier
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Rooms with very high ceilings where a pendant or chandelier would be more proportionate
- Spaces needing bright task lighting - the amber glass softens output
How bright is it?
Uses four 15W candelabra bulbs (not included). Lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose; with standard 15W LED bulbs, expect roughly 1600-2000 lumens total - enough for ambient lighting in a bedroom or hallway, but not as a primary light for a large kitchen.
Light color and feel
The amber glass warms the light, giving a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. This flatters wood tones and creates a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Dimmable when used with compatible dimmable bulbs and a standard dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
Measures 15.5 in L x 15.5 in W x 10.25 in H. The 5.25-inch canopy fits most standard junction boxes. Works well in rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings; in rooms with ceilings above 10 ft, consider a pendant or chandelier for better scale.
