A Dark Sky shield accessory for Westover outdoor wall lanterns, finished in matte black steel.
This accessory fits over the bulb socket of compatible Westover wall lanterns to provide full cutoff illumination, directing light downward and helping reduce light pollution. The matte black finish coordinates with the lantern's earth black tone, and the steel construction is built for outdoor exposure. It is a simple add-on for homeowners who want their outdoor lighting to be more environmentally conscious without replacing the fixture.
Best for
- Westover outdoor wall lanterns that need to meet Dark Sky compliance
- Driveways, patios, and entryways where downward-directed light is preferred
- Homeowners looking to reduce glare and light trespass in residential areas
- Coordinating multiple Westover lantern sizes with matching shields
Not ideal for
- Use with non-Westover fixtures - this shield is designed specifically for Westover outdoor wall lanterns
- Indoor lighting applications
- Fixtures that do not have a compatible bulb socket size
How bright is it?
This is a light-directing accessory, not a light source. It does not produce lumens itself; it shapes the output of the bulb already in your Westover lantern.
Light color and feel
Not applicable - this accessory does not change the color temperature or CRI of your bulb. It only directs light downward.
