A 28-inch six-light chandelier for dining rooms and foyers, blending transitional style with a sleek matte black finish and clear glass shades.
Viscount keeps things clean and classic: A matte black steel frame with clear glass shades that diffuse the light into a warm, inviting glow. It is the kind of chandelier that works with modern farmhouse, transitional, and contemporary interiors without fighting the room. At 28 inches across, it is sized for a standard dining table or a two-story foyer.
Best for
- Dining rooms with a 48-60 in table - hangs beautifully centered above
- Foyers and entryways that need a statement piece overhead
- Open-concept kitchens with an island or breakfast nook
- Transitional and modern farmhouse interiors with black or mixed-metal accents
Not ideal for
- Low ceilings under 8 ft - the 14.25 in body plus hanging height needs room
- Small powder rooms or closets where a 28 in diameter feels oversized
- Spaces that need bright task lighting - this is an ambient fixture
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. It takes six candelabra-base bulbs up to 15W each, so with 60W-equivalent LEDs you get a warm, layered glow suitable for dining and entertaining. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is set by your bulbs. A 2700K-3000K bulb gives a soft, golden dining-room feel; 4000K reads crisper for a foyer. The clear glass shades let the bulbs show, so choose decorative candelabra bulbs if you want them on display.
Sizing and fit
Measures 28 in wide x 28 in deep x 14.25 in tall and weighs 13.42 lbs. The 10 in canopy and 8 ft cord give plenty of adjustability for standard 8-10 ft ceilings. For a dining table, aim for 30-36 in between the bottom of the fixture and the tabletop.
