A 16-inch open-frame pendant in antique white steel, made for farmhouse and shabby-chic dining rooms, foyers, and kitchens.
The Summerford pendant from Quoizel brings an airy, whimsical feel to country farmhouse interiors. Its open steel frame is finished in Antique White, a soft, chalky tone that suits shabby-chic and cottage-style homes. Four candelabra bulbs sit inside the open cage, so the light reads as warm and decorative rather than heavy.
Best for
- Dining rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, hung over a 48-60 in table
- Foyers and entryways where an open, airy silhouette is wanted
- Kitchens with a farmhouse or cottage look, over an island or breakfast nook
- Bedrooms with vaulted ceilings, as a soft decorative centerpiece
Not ideal for
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 8 ft chain drop
- Spaces that need a single bright downlight - this is a decorative, multi-bulb pendant
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With four 60W candelabra bulbs, expect roughly 3,200-3,600 lumens total - enough to light a dining table or foyer, but the open frame spreads light in all directions rather than focusing it downward.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is set by your bulbs, not the fixture. Warm white (2700K-3000K) candelabra LEDs suit the Antique White finish and flatter wood and linen interiors. The fixture is not listed as dimmable in the source specs - check your bulb and dimmer compatibility before assuming dimming.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 16.25 in L x 16.25 in W x 22.5 in H. It ships with an 8 ft chain and a 12 ft cord, so it works in rooms with ceilings up to about 12 ft. The 5 in W x 5 in L canopy fits standard junction boxes. At 9.55 lbs, it is light enough for most ceiling joists with a standard swivel mount.
