A 16-inch semi-flush mount ceiling light for bedrooms, hallways, and other rooms with standard-height ceilings, finished in Western Bronze with a white etched glass shade.
The Sailor collection takes its cues from classic nautical lighting, then simplifies it for everyday interiors. A matte Western Bronze steel frame holds a white etched glass bowl that softens the light and hides the bulbs from below. The result is a clean, traditional look that works in coastal, transitional, and traditional homes without feeling themed.
Best for
- Bedrooms and guest rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, where a flush profile keeps headroom clear
- Hallways and foyers up to about 10 x 12 ft that need even, ambient light
- Laundry rooms, walk-in closets, and mudrooms where a low-profile ceiling light is preferred
- Coastal and traditional interiors that already use bronze or dark metal hardware
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Rooms where you want a statement chandelier or a pendant with visible bulbs
- Very large open rooms over 15 x 15 ft, where a single 16-inch fixture will not spread light far enough
How bright is it?
With four 100W medium-base bulbs (not included), this fixture can produce roughly 6,000-6,400 lumens depending on the bulbs you choose - comparable to a bright, well-lit living room. It works as a primary light source for a bedroom or hallway, not as a decorative accent.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you install. The white etched glass diffuses the output evenly and reduces glare, so 2700K-3000K warm white bulbs will feel soft and inviting, while 4000K bulbs will read cooler and more task-oriented. Dimmability depends on the bulbs and wall dimmer you pair with it; the fixture itself does not include a dimmer.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 16 in L x 16 in W x 9.5 in H with a 5-inch canopy. The 9.5-inch height makes it a good fit for ceilings around 8-9 ft, and the 16-inch diameter suits bedrooms, hallways, and small-to-medium rooms. It mounts close to the ceiling, so it will not interfere with doors or tall furniture.

Frequently asked
Is the bulb included? No. The fixture takes four 100W medium-base bulbs, sold separately.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Dimmability depends on the bulbs and wall dimmer you install. Use dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer; the fixture does not include either.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? No. It is rated for dry locations only, so it should be used indoors in dry rooms.
What's the warranty? Warranty information is not specified by the manufacturer in the supplied data.
Does the white etched glass hide the bulbs? Yes. The etched glass bowl diffuses the light and conceals the bulbs from below, giving a softer look than an open-bulb fixture.
