A coastal outdoor wall lantern for front porches, entryways, and garage walls, finished in matte black with rippled clear glass.
The Noland lantern pairs a sleek matte black frame with a clear glass shade that has a soft, rippling texture reminiscent of an ocean wave. Built from Coastal Armour aluminum, it is designed to hold up to exterior conditions while keeping a clean, modern-coastal look. Mount it beside a front door or on a porch column for a warm welcome after dark.
Best for
- Front entryways and porches, mounted beside the door at eye level
- Garage walls and side doors where a single lantern adds light and curb appeal
- Coastal and modern-farmhouse exteriors with black or dark trim
- Covered patios and breezeways where a wall-mounted light is preferred over a ceiling fixture
Not ideal for
- Interior rooms - this is an outdoor wall lantern
- Spaces where a large statement fixture is needed; at 17 in tall it is a mid-size wall lantern
- Installations that require an up-facing light - this lantern installs in the down position
How bright is it?
Takes one 100W medium-base bulb (not included). Brightness depends on the bulb you choose - a 100W-equivalent LED gives strong, welcoming porch light, while a lower-wattage bulb softens it for accent use.
Light color and feel
Light color is set by the bulb you install. A 2700K-3000K warm white bulb flatters brick, wood, and black trim; a 4000K bulb reads crisper and more modern. The clear rippled glass throws a soft, patterned glow rather than a flat beam.
Sizing and fit
Measures 8.5 in wide x 11.25 in deep x 17 in tall and weighs 4.56 lbs. The 11.25 in depth gives good projection from the wall, so leave clearance beside doors and walkways. Suits single-story entries and standard porch walls.
