A 42-inch five-light vanity light for large bathrooms and double vanities, finished in brushed nickel with opal etched glass shades.
The Nicholas collection brings a clean mid-century modern silhouette to the bath. A long rectangular backplate anchors five tapered square glass shades, each with an etched diffuser that softens the light and hides the bulb. The brushed nickel finish has a soft, satin sheen that pairs well with gray, white, and warm wood vanities. Mount it with the shades facing up for a traditional look or down for a more contemporary feel.
Best for
- Primary bathrooms with a 48-60 in double vanity, mounted above the mirror
- Large guest baths and master suites that need even light across two sinks
- Mid-century modern or transitional interiors with brushed nickel hardware
- Vanities where you want the option to flip the shades up or down
Not ideal for
- Small vanities under 42 in - the 41.75 in width will overhang
- Rooms with polished chrome or brass hardware if you want a matched finish
- Spaces where you need a single-light sconce rather than a full vanity bar
How bright is it?
Five 100W medium-base bulbs give you up to 500W of total light - bright enough to serve as the main light over a double vanity. Actual lumens depend on the bulbs you choose; LED equivalents around 800-1100 lumens each will feel similar to a 60W incandescent. Bulbs are not included.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you install. The opal etched glass diffuses the light evenly and reduces glare, so 2700K-3000K warm white bulbs will feel soft and flattering for makeup and grooming. The fixture is dimmable when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 41.75 in wide x 7 in deep x 10 in high. The 7-inch depth projects comfortably over a standard vanity without crowding the mirror. Works well with ceilings 8 ft or higher. Includes a 6-inch cord. Weighs 9.5 lbs.
