A two-light brushed nickel vanity light for bathroom mirrors and powder rooms, with tapered opal etched glass shades that can face up or down.
The Nicholas collection brings a clean mid-century modern look to the bath. A rectangular backplate anchors two tapered square glass shades, each with an etched opal diffuser that softens the light and hides the bulb. The brushed nickel finish has a soft, satin sheen that pairs well with chrome faucets, white tile, and warm wood vanities.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 24-36 in single vanity, mounted above the mirror
- Powder rooms and guest baths where a compact two-light bar fits
- Hallways or stair landings used as a coordinating wall light
- Mid-century modern, transitional, and contemporary interiors
Not ideal for
- Large primary baths with a 60 in double vanity - step up to the three-light Nicholas
- Outdoor or damp locations - this fixture is rated for dry indoor use only
- Rooms where you want a single statement pendant or chandelier instead of a vanity bar
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With two 100W medium-base bulbs (not included), this vanity light can produce roughly 1,600-3,200 lumens depending on the bulb type - enough for task lighting over a bathroom mirror. LED bulbs at 800-1,100 lumens each are a common choice for a softer, more efficient setup.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is set by your bulbs, not the fixture. For bathrooms, 3000K warm white flatters skin tones, while 4000K cool white gives a crisper, more clinical look for makeup and shaving. The opal etched glass diffuses the light evenly and reduces glare. This fixture is dimmable when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 15 in wide x 7 in deep x 10 in high, with a 6 in cord. The 15 in width suits a single-sink vanity or a narrow powder room mirror. Mount it about 6-8 in above the mirror for even face lighting. The shades can be installed facing up for a softer glow or down for more direct task light.
