A solid brass outdoor hanging lantern for front porches and entryways, finished in Medici Bronze with clear beveled glass.
The Newbury collection pairs classic lantern styling with solid brass construction, so it holds up to weather and looks better as it ages. The Medici Bronze finish brings a warm, dark bronze tone that suits brick, stone, and wood exteriors, while the clear beveled glass panels throw a warm, welcoming glow across your entry. Hang it from a porch ceiling or covered entry to light the way for guests.
Best for
- Front porches and covered entryways where a hanging lantern anchors the space
- Covered patios and porticos with ceilings high enough for an 8-inch chain drop
- Traditional, colonial, and craftsman homes that suit classic lantern silhouettes
- Entries where you want a warm welcome glow rather than a flood of light
Not ideal for
- Exposed, uncovered locations with no ceiling or overhang to hang from
- Low porch ceilings under 8 ft where the 8-inch chain plus 26.5-inch body may hang too low
- Anyone wanting a bright, daylight-white light - this fixture uses candelabra bulbs and reads warm
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. It takes four 15W candelabra-base bulbs (not included), so with typical LED candelabra bulbs you get a warm, moderate glow suited to entry and accent lighting rather than lighting a whole driveway.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you install. With warm-white candelabra LEDs (around 2700K-3000K) the clear beveled glass spreads a soft, golden light that flatters brick, stone, and wood exteriors.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 16 in L x 16 in W x 26.5 in H, with an 8-inch chain and a 5-inch canopy. It suits porches and covered entries with ceilings roughly 9 ft or higher so the lantern hangs at a comfortable height. Item weight is 14.19 lbs.
