A 21-inch semi-flush mount in matte black with etched swirl glass shades, sized for bedrooms, foyers, and dining rooms that want classic style with a modern edge.
The McKinney pairs traditional lines with glass shades that feature a fun swirl design, adding texture and a focal point without feeling fussy. The matte black finish gives it a crisp, contemporary read, while the etched swirl glass softens the light. It is part of a broader McKinney family, so you can carry the same style through multiple rooms.
Best for
- Bedrooms and guest rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings
- Foyers and entryways where a bold, clean look matters
- Dining rooms and breakfast areas that need ambient light
- Hallways and stair landings in transitional or modern farmhouse homes
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Rooms where you need bright task lighting; it is an ambient accent piece
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft where a 17.5-inch drop would feel low
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With three 15W candelabra-base bulbs, expect moderate ambient light - enough for a bedroom or foyer, but not a substitute for dedicated task lighting.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose; the etched swirl glass diffuses the light for a softer, more even glow than clear glass. Warm-white bulbs (2700K-3000K) give a classic feel, while cooler bulbs read more modern. Dimmability depends on the bulbs and dimmer used; the fixture does not include a dimmer.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 21.75 in L x 21.75 in W x 17.5 in H with a 5 in W x 5 in L canopy. The 21.75-inch width suits medium to large rooms; the 17.5-inch height works best under 9 ft ceilings or higher. Weighs 7.13 lbs.
