A 14-inch coastal flush mount ceiling light with a white rope shade and brushed gold steel frame, sized for bedrooms, hallways, and other low-ceiling spaces.
The Maeve takes the classic drum silhouette and wraps it in white rope for a relaxed, coastal look. A slim brushed gold metal band accents the shade, adding just enough shine without competing with the texture. It sits close to the ceiling, so it works well where a pendant or chandelier would hang too low.
Best for
- Bedrooms and guest rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings
- Hallways and entryways that need even, close-to-ceiling light
- Coastal, transitional, and casual interiors with warm neutral palettes
- Rooms where a low-profile fixture is required for clearance
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Rooms that need a single bright primary light source; this is a two-bulb accent fixture
- Very large rooms over 200 sq ft where a wider fixture would look better proportioned
How bright is it?
Lumen output depends on the bulbs you install. With two 25W medium-base bulbs, expect a soft, ambient glow suitable for bedrooms and hallways rather than a bright task light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose. The white rope shade diffuses light gently, softening glare and casting a warm, even wash across the ceiling and walls.
Sizing and fit
Measures 14 in L x 14 in W x 5.5 in H with a 5 in W x 5 in L canopy. The 5.5-inch height keeps it tight to the ceiling, making it a good fit for standard 8-9 ft rooms and hallways where headroom matters.
