A 42-inch linear island chandelier with six sculptural black metal shades and warm aged brass accents, made for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
Madden is as modern as it is sculptural. Elongated black metal shades are lined with gold interiors and matched with aged brass hardware, so the fixture reads bold from across the room and warm up close. The geometric silhouette suits contemporary, transitional, and industrial-leaning interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, hung as the primary light over the counter
- Dining rooms with a long rectangular table seating 6-8
- Open-concept kitchens where a linear fixture defines the cooking zone
- Modern or transitional interiors with brass or black hardware
Not ideal for
- Small rooms or breakfast nooks under 8 ft wide - the 41.5 in span needs a long surface beneath it
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you want the full 8 ft cord drop
- Anyone wanting a single-bulb accent - this is a six-bulb statement piece
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With six 100W medium-base bulbs, this fixture is designed as a primary light source for a kitchen island or dining table, not as ambient accent lighting.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose. The black shades with gold interiors direct light downward and bounce a warm glow off the interior finish, so 2700K-3000K bulbs will flatter wood and brass surfaces. Dimmability depends on the bulbs and dimmer used; the fixture itself is not listed as dimmable.
