An 11-inch outdoor wall lantern in matte black steel with a gold braided rope accent - built for front doors and porch entries.
Longshore pairs matte black metal with a gold braided rope detail that stands in for a traditional hook, giving the lantern a coastal feel without going nautical-kitsch. The sleek silhouette and downward-facing shade keep light where you need it at an entryway.
Best for
- Single front doors, mounted on one side of the entry
- Covered porches and porticos where a smaller lantern suits the scale
- Garages and side doors that need a focused pool of light
- Coastal, transitional, and modern farmhouse exteriors
Not ideal for
- Wide double-door entries where a single small lantern would look undersized
- Interiors - this is an outdoor-rated wall lantern
- Very tall facades where a larger fixture would balance the wall better
How bright is it?
One 100W medium-base bulb gives strong, focused light for an entryway. Exact lumen output depends on the bulb you choose - an LED around 1100 to 1600 lumens will comfortably light a doorway. Bulb is not included.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is set by your bulb. For entries, 2700K to 3000K warm white feels welcoming; 4000K reads more security-focused. The metal shade directs light downward, reducing glare at eye level.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 11 in wide x 11.75 in deep x 9.5 in high, with a 6 in cord. Mounts in a down-facing position. For a single-door entry, place the lantern about 66 in above the threshold on the latch side.
