A 31-inch nine-light chandelier for large dining rooms and two-story foyers, built from thin matte black steel arms with clear glass shades and warm brass accents.
Hillside spotlights modern industrial style. Slender matte black arms form a clean geometric silhouette, while clear glass shades and warm brass details add striking contrast. The larger of the two Hillside sizes, it delivers plenty of light and presence for a big table or a high entryway.
Best for
- Dining rooms with a 6-8 seat table, hung as the centerpiece
- Two-story foyers and stairwells with high ceilings
- Open-concept great rooms that need a large modern industrial focal point
- Spaces with matte black or brass hardware that the finish can coordinate with
Not ideal for
- Outdoor or covered patio use - this chandelier is rated for dry, indoor locations only
- Standard 8 ft ceilings, where the 36.5 in height plus 8 in chain would hang too low
- Small rooms, where a 31.75 in diameter would overwhelm the space
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With nine 100W medium-base bulbs, it can produce abundant ambient light - more than enough to serve as the primary light source in a large dining room.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose; the fixture does not set a Kelvin rating. Clear glass shades let the bulbs show, so warm-white bulbs give a soft, inviting dining glow while cooler bulbs read more crisp and industrial. Dimmability depends on your bulbs and wall dimmer.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 31.75 in wide x 31.75 in deep x 36.5 in high, with an 8 in chain, a 5 in W x 0.75 in L canopy, and a 12 ft cord. The 31.75 in diameter suits a 6-8 seat dining table and ceilings around 10 ft or higher.
