A 20-inch pendant light with clear textured glass panels and a mottled silver steel frame, designed for kitchen islands, dining tables, and entryways.
The Fortress pendant takes the collection's clean lines and panels of clear textured glass and scales them up into a statement piece. The mottled silver finish over steel adds a soft, brushed metallic tone that works with both warm and cool palettes, while the textured glass softens the light and adds visual depth. Hang it alone over a dining table or in a pair over a kitchen island for a cohesive look.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars
- Dining rooms and dining tables
- Entryways and foyers with higher ceilings
- Transitional, industrial, and modern interiors
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Rooms with low ceilings where the pendant would hang too close to head height
- Spaces where you need a very bright, single-source light - this is an ambient fixture
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you install. This fixture takes five candelabra-base bulbs up to 15W each, so with standard bulbs it provides warm ambient light for a dining area or island. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer because it varies with the bulbs chosen.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you use. With warm white bulbs (around 2700K-3000K) it gives a soft, inviting glow that suits wood tones and neutral walls. The clear textured glass diffuses the light slightly while keeping some sparkle.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 20.5 in L x 20.5 in W x 23.5 in H, with a 4 in chain and 8 ft cord. The pendant body is about 23.5 inches tall, so it works best in rooms with 9 ft or higher ceilings, hung so the bottom sits about 30-36 inches above a dining table or island counter.
