A 12-inch single pendant in matte black with a clear glass shade, sized for kitchen islands, bars, and breakfast counters.
Drover keeps the silhouette simple and lets the clear glass do the work, so the bulb and the room around it stay visible. The matte black steel finish is low-glare and easy to pair with black hardware, dark counters, or industrial-leaning kitchens. Hang one over a small table or line several in a row over an island for a cleaner, more deliberate look.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and peninsulas, hung 30-36 in above the countertop
- Bar areas and home cocktail corners
- Breakfast nooks and small dining tables where one pendant is enough
- Grouping two or three in a row over a longer island
Not ideal for
- Rooms where you need broad ambient light - a single 12 in pendant lights a small area only
- Very low ceilings, since the body is 20.25 in tall before you add hanging height
- Spaces built around warm brass or bronze accents, where the black reads as a contrast piece
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. It takes one medium-base bulb up to 100W, which is enough to light a countertop work zone or a small table. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer.
Light color and feel
Color temperature comes from your bulb, not the fixture. The clear glass shade lets the bulb read directly, so an exposed-filament or vintage-style bulb becomes part of the look. Dimmability depends on using a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 12 in wide x 12 in deep x 20.25 in tall, with a 5 in square canopy and 8 ft of cord. One pendant suits a small island or table; for a longer island, plan on two or three spaced evenly. Weighs 6.6 lbs.
