An outdoor wall lantern for porches and patios, finished in earth black Coastal Armour with clear seedy glass.
The Darius outdoor lantern is built to handle weather without rusting or corroding, thanks to its Coastal Armour resin construction. The earth black finish grounds the look, while clear seedy glass adds texture and a soft, warm glow. It is designed for functionality first, with a simple, sophisticated silhouette that suits traditional and coastal exteriors.
Best for
- Front porches and entryways where a single lantern provides welcoming light
- Covered patios and outdoor living areas
- Garages and side doors that need a durable, weather-resistant wall light
- Coastal homes where salt air and humidity are a concern
Not ideal for
- Indoor use - this fixture is designed for outdoor installation
- Very small spaces where an 18.75-inch-tall lantern would feel oversized
- Areas without a wall or post mount point
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. This fixture accepts one 150W medium-base bulb, so with a 150W-equivalent LED you get roughly 2,400 lumens - about as bright as a traditional 150W incandescent. That is enough for a porch or entryway, but not for lighting a large yard.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by the bulb you install. A 2700K-3000K warm white bulb gives a soft, golden tone that feels welcoming on a porch; a 4000K bulb reads cooler and more modern. The clear seedy glass diffuses the bulb slightly while keeping the look crisp. This fixture is not listed as dimmable in the source specs - check your bulb and dimmer compatibility before installing on a dimmer circuit.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 11.25 in W x 9.5 in D x 18.75 in H with a 12 ft cord, an 8 in chain, and a 5.25 in W x 0.75 in L canopy. The 18.75-inch height suits standard 8-9 ft porch ceilings. The 11.25-inch width works well beside a standard 36-inch front door.
