A 16-inch flush mount ceiling light for bedrooms, hallways, and other low-ceiling spaces where you want soft, even light without a hanging fixture.
The Damascus pairs a simple drum silhouette with a matte black exterior and a warm brass-painted interior that helps bounce light back into the room. An opal glass globe diffuses the bulb for a clean, glare-free glow. It is a transitional piece that reads equally well in modern and traditional homes.
Best for
- Bedrooms and hallways with standard 8-9 ft ceilings
- Entryways and foyers where a low-profile light is needed
- Home offices and dens that need soft ambient light
- Closets, laundry rooms, and utility spaces
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Rooms where you want a bright, direct task light - the opal glass diffuses output
- Spaces with very high ceilings where a pendant or chandelier would fill the volume better
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With one 100W medium-base bulb, expect roughly 1600 lumens from a standard incandescent or equivalent LED - enough for ambient lighting in a bedroom or hallway, but not a primary light for a large open room.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb you install. The opal glass softens and diffuses the beam, so a warm 2700K-3000K bulb will feel cozy and flattering, while a 4000K bulb will read cooler and more utilitarian. Dimmability depends on the bulb and dimmer switch you pair it with.
Sizing and fit
Measures 16 in L x 16 in W x 8.75 in H with a 6.25 in W x 6.25 in L canopy. The 8.75-inch height keeps it close to the ceiling, making it a good fit for rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings. At 16 inches wide, it suits bedrooms, hallways, and foyers up to roughly 12 x 12 ft.
