A tall, tapered outdoor wall lantern in copper bronze with clear glass - built for porches, entryways, and garage walls that need a warm, welcoming glow.
The Chancellor takes its cue from 19th-century carriage lighting: A slim, tapered steel frame, a gently curved arm, and clear glass panels that let the bulbs show through. The copper bronze finish warms up brick, stone, and painted siding, and the open silhouette keeps the look classic rather than heavy.
Best for
- Front entryways and covered porches where you want a traditional, welcoming light beside the door
- Garage walls and side doors - mount in pairs for even, symmetrical light
- Traditional and transitional exteriors in brick, stone, or painted siding
- Covered patios and breezeways that stay out of direct rain
Not ideal for
- Open, fully exposed locations with no roof or overhang - this lantern is not rated for direct rain or wet exposure
- Very small porches or narrow sidelight walls - at 23.25 in tall it needs vertical room to look right
- Anyone wanting a modern, minimalist look - the curved arm and tapered frame read traditional
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. It takes three candelabra-base bulbs up to 15W each; with LED equivalents you get a bright, welcoming accent light for a doorway or porch, not a floodlight for a whole yard.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is set by your bulbs, not the lantern. For a warm, classic exterior look, choose 2700K-3000K LED candelabra bulbs; for a crisper, more modern feel, 4000K works. Clear glass shows the bulb shape, so decorative filament or candelabra-style LEDs look best.
