A 19.5-inch outdoor wall lantern in aged copper with clear glass, sized for front doors, porch walls, and large facades.
Carolina takes its cue from historical gas lanterns, then finishes the story with hand-riveted accents and an aged copper body that warms up brick, siding, and stone. Clear glass panels keep the light clean and unobstructed. At 19.5 in tall it is the largest of the Carolina wall lanterns - a good fit for double doors, tall entries, and generous porch walls.
Best for
- Double front doors and tall entries where a substantial wall lantern frames the doorway
- Garage entries and mudroom doors that need a warm, traditional welcome
- Covered porches and porticos with brick, siding, or stone exteriors
- Pairing on either side of a door for a symmetrical, matched look
Not ideal for
- Exposed, uncovered locations with direct rain and wind exposure
- Narrow walls or tight side entries where a 19.5 in lantern would crowd the door
- Modern minimalist exteriors that call for a slim, linear silhouette
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you install. This lantern takes one medium-base bulb up to 100W, so a standard 100W-equivalent LED gives roughly 1500-1600 lumens - plenty for a doorway or entry, though not intended as a primary area light for a large yard.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is set by your bulb choice, not the lantern. A 2700K-3000K warm white bulb suits the aged copper finish and reads welcoming at the door; a 4000K bulb will look crisper and more utilitarian. Dimmability depends on the bulb and switch used.
Sizing and fit
Overall 8.25 in L x 7 in W x 19.5 in H, with a 6 in cord. The larger backplate suits standard junction boxes and double-door entries. Mounts in the down position.
