A 26-inch 4-light pendant with a matte black metal shade and a shimmering capiz shell interior, made for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Braylon is a study in contrast: A grounded, contemporary matte black exterior wrapped around a warm, textured capiz shell lining. The reflective interior bounces light softly, giving the fixture depth and a natural shimmer that reads as both modern and organic. It is a statement piece that still feels calm over a table or island.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, hung in a single statement position or paired over a long counter
- Dining rooms and breakfast nooks with 9-10 ft ceilings
- Entryways and foyers where a sculptural focal point is wanted
- Transitional and modern interiors with black, wood, or brass accents
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 4 ft chain drop
- Spaces where you want a bright, even wash of task light - this is an ambient accent piece
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With four 100W medium-base bulbs, this pendant delivers strong ambient light for a dining table or island - brighter than a typical single-bulb pendant, but the capiz shell lining softens and diffuses the glow rather than throwing a harsh beam.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose. Warm white (2700K-3000K) bulbs will emphasize the golden shimmer of the capiz shell and flatter wood and brass interiors; cooler bulbs will push the look more modern. Dimmability depends on the bulbs and dimmer switch used - the fixture itself does not include a dimmer.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 25.5 in L x 25.5 in W x 19 in H, with a 4 ft chain and 8 ft cord. The 5 in square canopy suits standard junction boxes. At 19 in tall plus chain, this works best in rooms with 9 ft ceilings or higher; in an 8 ft room, shorten the chain so the bottom of the shade sits about 30-36 in above a dining table or 30-36 in above an island counter.
