A 16-inch semi-flush mount light with a scalloped clear ribbed glass shade and matte black steel frame, sized for foyers, hallways, and living rooms with standard ceilings.
Belmond pairs a classic silhouette with a scalloped, clear ribbed glass shade that scatters light into a soft, patterned glow. The steel frame is finished in matte black, a crisp, low-sheen neutral that suits traditional, transitional, and modern farmhouse interiors. Mounting close to the ceiling keeps sightlines open in entryways and hallways while still delivering the presence of a decorative fixture.
Best for
- Foyers and entryways where a low-profile light keeps the path clear
- Hallways and stair landings that need even ambient light
- Living rooms and sitting areas with traditional or transitional furnishings
- Bathrooms with standard 8-foot ceilings (dry location only)
Not ideal for
- Covered outdoor areas or bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture carries an ETL listing but no damp or wet location rating is specified by the manufacturer
- Large open rooms over 250 sq ft where three 15W bulbs will not provide enough light
- Rooms where you want a hanging statement piece - this mounts flush to the ceiling
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. This fixture takes three 15W candelabra base bulbs, which together provide moderate ambient light - enough for a foyer or hallway, but not intended as the sole light source for a large room.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you install. With 2700K-3000K bulbs it produces a warm, golden glow similar to traditional incandescent, which flatters skin tones and warm wood interiors. The clear ribbed glass softens and patterns the light rather than diffusing it evenly. The fixture is not listed as dimmable by the manufacturer; dimming capability depends on the bulbs and wall switch you use.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 15.75 in L x 15.75 in W x 9.25 in H, with a 5 in W x 5 in L canopy. At 9.25 inches tall it suits ceilings 8 feet and higher and leaves comfortable headroom in foyers and hallways. The 15.75-inch diameter covers a small to medium room footprint; for rooms larger than about 250 sq ft, consider pairing it with additional lighting.

Frequently asked
Are the bulbs included? No. This fixture requires three 15W candelabra base bulbs, sold separately.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? The manufacturer does not list this fixture as dimmable. Dimming depends on the bulbs and wall dimmer you choose; check bulb compatibility before installing a dimmer.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? No damp or wet location rating is specified, so it is best suited to dry indoor rooms.
What's the warranty? Warranty information is not specified by the manufacturer.
Is the glass shade removable for cleaning? The clear ribbed glass shade is designed to be removed for bulb changes and cleaning; handle it carefully as ribbed glass can chip if knocked against hard surfaces.
