A brushed gold two-light wall sconce with a white fabric shade and a large chain detail, made for hallways, living rooms, and bedrooms.
The Baynes wall sconce brings traditional elegance with a refined steel frame, a white fabric shade, and an oversized chain accent that adds a striking focal point. The brushed gold finish keeps it warm and classic, while the fabric shade softens the light into a gentle ambient glow. It is designed to install in the up position.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways where a warm, traditional accent light is needed
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading or ambient sconce
- Living rooms flanking a fireplace, console, or artwork
- Traditional and transitional interiors with brass or gold hardware
Not ideal for
- Covered patios or bathrooms with direct shower exposure - the source lists an ETL listing but no damp or wet location rating
- Rooms where you need a primary light source - two 15W candelabra bulbs are best for accent and ambient light
- Downward-facing installations - this sconce is designed to install in the up position only
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you install. The fixture takes two 15W candelabra-base bulbs, which together produce a soft, moderate glow suited to accent and ambient light. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is set by the bulbs you choose. The white fabric shade diffuses the light into a warm, even glow that flatters bedrooms and living rooms. Dimmability depends on the bulbs and dimmer you pair it with; the fixture itself is not listed as dimmable in the source data.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 13 in wide x 6 in deep x 22.75 in high, with a 6 in cord. At 22.75 in tall it is a substantial vertical accent, so it suits standard 8-9 ft ceilings and rooms with enough wall space to let it breathe. The 6 in depth keeps projection modest in hallways.
