A 19.5-inch tall outdoor wall lantern in old bronze with clear glass, sized for front entries, porches, and coastal homes.
The Abernathy pairs traditional lantern lines with industrial accents, finished in old bronze over marine-grade Coastal Armour aluminum. Clear glass panels show off the bulbs, so vintage filament candelabra bulbs give the warmest, most period-correct glow. It is part of Quoizel's Coastal Armour collection, made to hold up in salt-air and harsh-weather settings.
Best for
- Front entryways and covered porches, flanking a door in pairs
- Coastal and waterfront homes where salt air and moisture are a factor
- Taller facades and two-story entries that need a larger-scale lantern
- Traditional exteriors in warm bronze tones
Not ideal for
- Narrow walls or tight door surrounds - at 8.25 in wide it needs more wall space than the 6.5 in version
- Anyone wanting a fully enclosed, glare-free look - the clear glass puts the bulbs on display
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. It takes two 15W candelabra-base bulbs; lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. Vintage filament bulbs give a soft, decorative glow rather than task-level light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature follows your bulb choice. Warm 2700K filament bulbs suit the traditional look and flatter brick, stone, and wood exteriors. Dimmability depends on the bulbs and dimmer used.
Sizing and fit
Measures 8.25 in wide x 6.5 in deep x 19.5 in tall and weighs 6.72 lbs. The 6.5 in depth suits standard wall mounting beside a door; installs in the up position. Works on most exterior walls with standard junction-box wiring.
