A 9-inch LED flush mount ceiling light for hallways, bathrooms, and other spaces where you want recessed-lighting style without the installation hassle.
The Trim collection from Maxim Lighting delivers a thin, evenly illuminated disc that mimics the look of recessed lighting. The die-cast aluminum housing in polished chrome is paired with a recessed white polycarbonate diffuser, creating a clean, modern profile that sits nearly flush against the ceiling. With high efficiency and excellent color rendering, this fixture is a smart choice for both new projects and retrofits.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors with 8-foot ceilings, providing bright, even ambient light
- Bathrooms, including wet areas, thanks to its wet-rated safety listing
- Bedrooms and closets where a low-profile light is needed
- Kitchens and laundry rooms as a functional, energy-efficient light source
- Multi-unit installations in hallways or long corridors for consistent lighting
Not ideal for
- Large open-plan living areas that need a statement fixture or dramatic lighting
- Spaces with ceilings under 7 feet, as the fixture may feel too close to head height
- Areas requiring adjustable or directional lighting, as this is a fixed flush mount
How bright is it?
This fixture emits 1280 lumens, which is roughly equivalent to a 75-watt incandescent bulb. It provides ample light for a small to medium-sized room, making it suitable as a primary light source in hallways, bathrooms, and similar spaces.
Light color and feel
The integrated LED produces a warm white light at 3000K, similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. This creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere, flattering skin tones and warm interior finishes. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and accurate, making it a good choice for areas where color rendering matters, such as kitchens or bathrooms.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 9 inches in diameter and just 0.75 inches in height, making it an excellent choice for rooms with low ceilings. It is designed to fit standard 4-inch junction boxes and mounts directly to the ceiling. The compact size allows for installation in tight spaces, such as closets or hallways.
