A 10-inch semi-flush mount ceiling light in matte black and satin white glass, ideal for hallways, entryways, and dining rooms.
The Russel collection by Nuvo Lighting brings a traditional silhouette with a modern matte black finish. The satin white glass diffuses light softly, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. This semi-flush mount is perfect for spaces with standard ceilings, adding a touch of understated elegance.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing ambient light without overwhelming the space
- Dining rooms and kitchens where a soft, warm glow is desired over a table or island
- Bedrooms and living rooms as a secondary light source or for cozy corners
- Powder rooms and small bathrooms (dry locations only)
- Spaces with traditional or transitional decor that need a classic, versatile fixture
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure or outdoor covered areas – rated for dry locations only
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting – this fixture provides ambient light, not high-lumen output
- Rooms with ceilings under 7 ft – the fixture hangs 10.25 inches from the ceiling
How bright is it?
With one 60W medium base bulb (not included), the fixture can produce up to 800 lumens if using an LED equivalent – similar to a standard 60W incandescent. This is suitable for ambient lighting in small to medium rooms, but not as a primary light source for large spaces.
Light color and feel
The satin white glass diffuses light evenly, creating a soft, warm glow. The fixture is dimmable when used with a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer switch, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright and welcoming to soft and intimate.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount has a diameter of 10 inches and a height of 10.25 inches, making it compact enough for hallways and small rooms. It is designed for standard 8-9 ft ceilings; for higher ceilings, consider a pendant or chandelier.
