A 1-light outdoor post light in matte black with clear seeded glass, designed for entryways and garden paths.
The Lawrence collection by Nuvo Lighting brings a timeless, English bobby-inspired silhouette to your outdoor spaces. The matte black die-cast aluminum construction is durable and weather-resistant, while the clear seeded glass adds a vintage touch, casting a warm, welcoming glow. This post light adapts effortlessly to both modern urban and classic countryside settings.
Best for
- Entryways and front walkways, mounted on a post to greet guests with a warm light
- Garden paths and driveways, providing ambient illumination and curb appeal
- Covered patios and porches, where a wet-rated fixture is needed
- Traditional or transitional style homes, complementing brick, stone, or siding
- Replacing an existing post light to upgrade the exterior aesthetic
Not ideal for
- Indoor use only - this fixture is designed for outdoor wet locations
- Areas requiring bright task lighting - this is an accent/ambient light (max 100W bulb)
- Homes with ultra-modern or minimalist architecture - the traditional style may clash
How bright is it?
Accepts one 100W medium base bulb or LED equivalent. With a standard 100W incandescent bulb, it produces about 1600 lumens - similar to a typical porch light, sufficient for ambient lighting over a walkway or entry. For a softer glow, use a lower wattage or dimmable LED (dimmer dependent on bulb).
Light color and feel
The clear seeded glass diffuses light with a subtle textured pattern, creating a warm, inviting ambiance. The fixture itself does not determine color temperature; choose a bulb between 2700K-3000K for a warm white glow that complements the traditional design. Dimmable if paired with a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer.
Sizing and fit
