A 24-foot incandescent string light with 12 vintage-style S14 bulbs, ideal for outdoor patios, backyard parties, and commercial events.
Bring nostalgic charm to any space with the Nuvo Lighting S8035 string light set. Featuring a heavy-duty, weatherproof black cord and 12 warm white Edison bulbs (2850K), these lights create a cozy, retro ambiance perfect for weddings, barbecues, or everyday outdoor dining. The secure plug-in design allows easy installation, and you can connect up to three sets (72 feet total) for larger areas.
Best for
- Outdoor patios and decks, strung overhead for ambient lighting during evening gatherings
- Backyard parties and weddings, adding a festive, nostalgic glow
- Covered porches and pergolas, where weather resistance is needed
- Commercial spaces like cafes, restaurants, and event venues for versatile decor lighting
- Indoor use in living rooms or bedrooms for a vintage-inspired accent
Not ideal for
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting - these are ambient accent lights (15 lumens per bulb estimated)
- Areas with extreme weather exposure - cord is weatherproof but not submersible
- Low ceilings under 7 feet - the hanging bulbs need clearance
How bright is it?
Each S14 incandescent bulb produces approximately 15 lumens, so the full set delivers about 180 lumens total - comparable to a single 15-watt incandescent bulb. This is ideal for creating a warm, ambient glow rather than illuminating a large area. For brighter lighting, consider connecting multiple sets.
Light color and feel
2850K warm white - a soft, golden tone reminiscent of classic Edison bulbs. It flatters skin tones and complements warm wood, brick, and neutral outdoor furnishings. The light is dimmable (with a compatible dimmer switch), allowing you to adjust the mood from a gentle glow to a brighter party atmosphere.
Sizing and fit
The string measures 24 feet (288 inches) long with 12 bulbs spaced approximately 24 inches apart. Each socket is 1.77 inches wide and the bulb extends 7.48 inches from the cord. The heavy-duty 18-gauge wire supports up to 72 feet when connecting three sets. Ideal for covering a standard patio or pergola.
