A 6-inch slant ceiling mount in polished brass metal that adapts Matthews Gerbar ceiling fans to vaulted ceilings pitched up to 29 degrees.
This canopy from Matthews Fans' Canopies Collection is designed for contemporary and transitional interiors. Its polished brass finish adds a touch of elegance while providing a secure, flush fit for your ceiling fan on sloped ceilings. Rated for interior and exterior damp locations, it's suitable for covered outdoor areas but not for saltwater environments.
Best for
- Vaulted or cathedral ceilings with pitches from 1 to 29 degrees, where a standard flush mount won't fit
- Covered patios, porches, and other damp-rated outdoor spaces
- Matching the polished brass finish of Matthews Gerbar fans for a cohesive, upscale look
- Indoor rooms with sloped ceilings, such as great rooms, lofts, and stairwells
- Contemporary or transitional design schemes where brass accents are a focal point
Not ideal for
- Ceilings pitched more than 29 degrees - this mount is specifically designed for angles up to 29 degrees only
- Saltwater or ocean-front applications, as the brass finish may not withstand corrosive coastal air
- Fans from other brands - this is designed exclusively for Matthews Gerbar ceiling fans
Style and finish
The polished brass finish is a classic choice that complements both contemporary and transitional styles. Made of durable metal, it brings a warm, reflective quality to the ceiling, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the fan and room.
Materials and care
Crafted from metal with a polished brass finish. To maintain its luster, wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface. Care instructions for the finish are not specified by the manufacturer, so gentle cleaning is recommended.
