A 52-inch ceiling fan with solid wood blades and an integrated LED light kit, ideal for larger bedrooms, living rooms, and covered patios.
The Patricia–5 from Matthews Fan Company pairs a refined, minimalist silhouette with robust construction. Solid wood blades in a barn wood tone revolve around a balanced, cylindrical DC motor housing, moving air efficiently with barely more than a whisper. The integrated, dimmable LED light kit adds energy-efficient illumination, making this fan as practical as it is elegant.
Best for
- Bedrooms and living rooms up to 18 x 18 ft, providing gentle airflow and ambient light
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction (not for salt water exposure)
- Spaces with vaulted ceilings up to 30 degrees, using the included canopy
- Homes seeking an energy-efficient, ultra-quiet fan with six speeds and reverse function
Not ideal for
- Ocean-front or salt-water environments, as the finish may corrode
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you need more than the included 10-inch downrod
How bright is it?
The integrated LED produces 690 lumens—about as bright as a 60W incandescent bulb—ideal for ambient lighting, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
At 3075K, the light is a warm white, similar to traditional incandescent, flattering skin tones and warm wood finishes. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and accurate. The LED is dimmable, and the included remote and wall control allow easy adjustment.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 52 inches in diameter and 12 inches in height (plus downrod). It suits rooms of 150-300 sq ft. The included 10-inch downrod works for standard 8-9 ft ceilings; optional downrods are available for higher ceilings.
