A 62-inch damp-rated rotational ceiling fan from Matthews Fan Company, finished in brushed nickel with mahogany wood blades, for covered patios, sunrooms, and large indoor spaces.
The Italo Ventania Damp is a handmade, high-gauge steel ceiling fan with a sculptural, modern silhouette. Its brushed nickel motor housing pairs with rich mahogany blades to create a warm, contemporary look. Rated for interior and exterior damp use, it's built to withstand humid environments like covered patios and sunrooms while moving substantial air.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms where damp-rated fixtures are required
- Living rooms and great rooms 15x20 ft or larger, where its 62-inch sweep provides strong airflow
- Primary bedrooms with high ceilings, mounted with the included 10-inch downrod
- Open-concept spaces needing a statement piece that also cools
- Homes with 9-foot or higher ceilings, allowing proper clearance
Not ideal for
- Fully exposed outdoor areas without a roof - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 10x10 ft, where the 62-inch blade sweep may be overpowering
- Low ceilings under 7.5 ft, unless installed with a flush mount (not included)
How bright is it?
This ceiling fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on your room's existing lighting. It is designed for air movement, not illumination.
Light color and feel
No light included; the fan's finish and blades contribute to the room's aesthetic rather than its light color.
Sizing and fit
