A 53-inch rotational ceiling fan from Matthews Fan Company's Italo Ventania Collection, built for damp indoor and outdoor spaces with a warm, natural wood accent.
This handmade fan combines high-gauge steel construction with mahogany blades in a chrome finish, offering a durable, moisture-resistant design that suits covered patios and large living areas. It's a versatile choice for homes that want reliable airflow with a distinctive, artisanal feel. Made in the USA.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches where damp-rated fixtures are required
- Large living rooms and great rooms needing high-volume air movement
- Open-plan spaces with ceilings that can accommodate a 10-inch downrod
- Coastal or humid climates where moisture resistance is a priority
- Homes seeking a handmade, American-made ceiling fan with a warm wood aesthetic
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 10x10 ft where a 53-inch sweep may be overpowering
- Low ceilings under 8 ft without a flush-mount option (downrod included is 10 inches)
- Indoor-only applications if you prefer a fan with a light kit (this model does not include one)
How bright is it?
This is a ceiling fan without an integrated light kit, so brightness is not applicable. It is designed for air circulation, not illumination.
Light color and feel
No light source is included, so color temperature and CRI are not applicable. The chrome finish and mahogany blades add a warm, reflective visual interest.
