A 40-inch rotational ceiling fan from Matthews Fan Company's Brisa 2000 Collection, finished in chrome with mahogany wood blades, designed for damp locations like covered patios and large bedrooms.
Handmade in the USA, this fan combines high-gauge steel construction with rich mahogany blades for a warm yet industrial look. The rotational design provides versatile airflow, and the included 10-inch downrod allows for flexible mounting. Ideal for spaces that need both style and function.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction is essential
- Large bedrooms (12x14 ft or larger) needing efficient air circulation
- Living rooms with high ceilings, paired with a longer downrod (available separately)
- Open-concept spaces that benefit from rotational airflow
- Homes seeking a handmade, American-made statement piece
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 8x10 ft, where a 40-inch sweep may be overpowering
- Low ceilings under 8 ft without a flush-mount option (not included)
- Indoor-only spaces that don't require damp-rated durability
How bright is it?
This ceiling fan does not include a light kit, so brightness is not applicable. It is designed for airflow, not illumination.
Light color and feel
No light source is included, so color temperature and CRI are not applicable. The fan's finish and blades contribute to the room's aesthetic rather than its lighting.
Sizing and fit
With a 40-inch blade sweep and 7-inch body height (plus downrod), this fan suits medium to large rooms. The included 10-inch downrod works for standard 8-9 ft ceilings; longer downrods (5, 20, 30, 48, or 72 inches) are available for higher ceilings.
