A 13-inch directional ceiling fan from Matthews Fan Company, built for small rooms and covered outdoor spaces, with a brushed nickel steel body and metal blades.
The Bianca Directional is a compact, handmade fan that moves air precisely where you need it. Its high-gauge steel housing in brushed nickel pairs with metal blades for a sleek, modern look. Made in the USA, it's a quality choice for tight spaces that still need serious airflow.
Best for
- Small bedrooms, home offices, and nooks up to 80 sq ft
- Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms (damp-rated)
- Spaces with low ceilings, using a short downrod
- Rooms where directional airflow is needed, like over a desk or reading chair
- Modern and transitional interiors that want a compact, sculptural fan
Not ideal for
- Large open-plan living areas over 150 sq ft - the 13-inch sweep is too small to move air effectively
- Uncovered outdoor areas exposed to direct rain - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 7 ft if you need a long downrod for clearance
How bright is it?
This is a ceiling fan without a light kit, so brightness doesn't apply. It's designed for air movement, not illumination.
Light color and feel
No light included, so color temperature isn't a factor. Pair it with your existing ceiling light or add a separate light source for the room.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 13 inches wide, 13 inches deep, and 13 inches high (plus downrod). Downrods of 5, 10, 20, or 30 inches are available to suit different ceiling heights. It weighs 15 lbs and is suitable for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings when using a short downrod.
