A 39-inch transitional ceiling fan with six solid wood blades in a barn wood finish, designed for living rooms and bedrooms.
The Acqua rotational fan is thoughtfully designed to resemble the molecular structure of water, Earth's most precious resource. It offers fluid lines and quiet axial rotation, with fan heads that can be infinitely positioned in 180-degree arcs for optimum air movement. The greater the angles of the motors to the horizontal support rods (up or down), the faster the axial rotation. A slow, controlled axial rotation is achieved by both fan head position and fan blade speed. Matthews rotational fans circulate heat and air-conditioning more efficiently than traditional paddle fans.
Best for
- Living rooms and great rooms where you want efficient air circulation with a sculptural, modern look
- Bedrooms, especially those with 8-10 ft ceilings, using the included 10" downrod
- Spaces with vaulted ceilings up to 29 degrees, using the compatible canopy
- Covered patios or sunrooms, as this fan is rated for interior/exterior damp locations
- Rooms where you want a quiet, energy-efficient alternative to traditional paddle fans
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 10x10 ft, as the 39-inch blade span may be overpowering
- Outdoor areas with direct water exposure, as it is rated for damp, not wet, locations
- Low ceilings under 8 ft, unless you use a shorter downrod or flush mount (not included)
How bright is it?
The integrated LED downlight produces 337 lumens - about as bright as a 40W incandescent bulb, ideal for accent or ambient light, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
2969K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. Flatters skin tones and warm wood/brass interiors. With a CRI of 94, it renders colors accurately, good for art or kitchens.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 39"(L) x 39"(H) x 16"(Dia) with a canopy of 6"(L) x 6"(H) x 2"(Dia). Height is adjustable from 16 to 26 inches using the included 10" field cuttable downrod. It fits rooms with 8-10 ft ceilings and is compatible with vaulted ceilings up to 29 degrees.
