A 37-inch tall outdoor post light for driveways, walkways, and garden entries, finished in charcoal with clear water glass.
The Exeter post head brings traditional lantern styling to the end of a driveway or along a garden path. The charcoal finish is a deep, matte near-black that disappears into landscaping during the day and frames the light cleanly at night. Clear water glass softens the bulb glow into a warm, diffused pattern instead of a harsh point source.
Best for
- Driveway and walkway posts where you want a traditional lantern silhouette
- Garden and yard entries that need a taller, more substantial post head
- Homes with traditional, colonial, or craftsman exteriors in charcoal or dark trim
- Covered porches and patios where the post is sheltered from direct rain
Not ideal for
- Mounting directly on a wall - this is a post head and needs a compatible post or pier mount
- Low-clearance areas where a 37-inch-tall head would overwhelm the space
- Modern or minimalist exteriors that call for a slimmer, more geometric profile
How bright is it?
Four 60-watt candelabra bulbs give this post light a bright, welcoming glow - roughly comparable to a pair of 100W incandescent bulbs. That is enough to light a driveway edge or illuminate a path without washing out the surrounding landscape. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer and depends on the bulbs you choose.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you install. Warm white (2700K-3000K) bulbs give a classic, golden outdoor look that flatters brick, stone, and wood siding. Clear water glass diffuses the light slightly, so you get a soft glow rather than a sharp beam.
Sizing and fit
The post head measures 14 inches wide and 37 inches tall, with 21.75 inches from the top of the fixture to the mounting point. It is sized for standard outdoor post installations and works well on posts 6 to 8 feet tall. Because of its size and 20 lb weight, it ships by truck freight and will need to be moved from the truck to its final location.
