A traditional 4-light outdoor post head in bronze with clear water glass, sized for driveways, walkways, and garden paths.
The Exeter post head brings classic lantern styling to outdoor spaces. The bronze finish gives it a warm, established look that pairs well with brick, stone, and traditional architecture, while the clear water glass shade adds texture and diffuses the light just enough to reduce glare. At 37.5 inches tall and 14 inches wide, it makes a substantial statement at the top of a post.
Best for
- Driveway and walkway posts where you want a traditional lantern silhouette
- Garden paths and yard perimeters that need consistent, welcoming light
- Homes with brick, stone, or classic siding that suit a bronze finish
- Covered porches or entry posts where the fixture is protected from direct weather
Not ideal for
- Small-scale landscaping or narrow paths - at 14 inches wide and 37.5 inches tall, this is a large post head
- Areas where you want a modern or minimalist look - the water glass and bronze finish lean traditional
- Posts that are not rated to support a fixture of this size and weight
How bright is it?
This fixture uses four 60-watt candelabra base bulbs (not included). With four bulbs, it produces a generous amount of light - enough to illuminate a wide area around a driveway or path. Exact lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose; LED replacements will give you similar brightness with lower energy use.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by the bulbs you install. For a warm, welcoming outdoor look, choose 2700K-3000K bulbs. The clear water glass shade softens the light slightly and creates a traditional lantern effect. This fixture is not dimmable as specified by the manufacturer.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 37.5 inches high x 14 inches wide. The backplate measures 5.5 inches wide x 15.75 inches high. This is a post head only - it mounts on a standard post (post not included). The 21.75-inch height from the top of the fixture to the mounting point gives you a sense of how it sits on the post. Because of its size and weight (20 lbs.), it ships via truck freight and you will be contacted to schedule a delivery appointment.
