A 6.25-inch LED pendant from Kuzco's Novel collection, finished in black with an acrylic light guide, ideal for focused task lighting over kitchen islands or dining tables.
The Novel pendant combines pure geometry with functional illumination. Its disk-shaped light head can be rotated and angled to direct light exactly where you need it, while the clean, thin-lined structure adds a modern sculptural element to any space. The integrated LED source delivers 1270 lumens of warm 3000K light with a high CRI of 90 for accurate color rendering.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung in a row of two or three for even task lighting
- Dining tables 36-48 in wide, centered 30-36 in above the tabletop
- Home office desks or reading nooks where adjustable directional light is needed
- Entryways or hallways as a single statement pendant over a console table
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you prefer a flush mount - the pendant hangs 9.38 in from the canopy
- Large open-plan rooms needing ambient light alone - 1270 lumens is best for task or accent use
How bright is it?
1270 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb, suitable for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table. It provides focused illumination rather than filling a whole room.
Light color and feel
3000K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent lighting. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vibrant and natural, making it a good choice for kitchens where food prep requires accurate color perception. Fully dimmable from 100% to 10% using a TRIAC or ELV dimmer (not included).
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 6.25 in long, 5.25 in wide, and 9.38 in high overall. The round canopy is 7.12 in diameter and 1.62 in high. Ideal for ceilings 8 ft or higher; the adjustable hanging length allows positioning 30-36 in above a table or counter.
