A 39-inch LED pendant from Kuzco's Ampersand collection, designed for kitchen islands and dining rooms that need bright, energy-efficient light with a modern sculptural look.
The Ampersand pendant features an extruded and rolled triangular aluminum loop with a flexible silicon rubber diffuser, creating a distinctive open form that provides both up and down light. Finished in matte black with a white acrylic diffuser, this fixture delivers 5850 lumens of warm 3000K light at 90 CRI, making it ideal for task and ambient lighting in larger spaces.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, centered above the counter for even task lighting
- Dining rooms with tables 60-72 in long, hung 30-36 in above the table surface
- Open-plan living areas where a single statement pendant defines the zone
- Spaces with sloped ceilings up to standard residential pitch (sloped ceiling adaptable)
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Small powder rooms or hallways - the 39-inch diameter may overwhelm compact spaces
- Low ceilings under 8 ft - the fixture height plus hanging length requires clearance
How bright is it?
5850 lumens - about as bright as four 60W incandescent bulbs, suitable for primary lighting in medium to large rooms. The up-and-down light distribution fills the space evenly.
Light color and feel
3000K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. With a 90 CRI, colors appear vibrant and accurate, ideal for kitchens and dining areas where food and decor matter. Dimmable from 100% to 10% with a TRIAC or ELV dimmer (not included).
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 39.38 in diameter x 7.88 in height. The canopy is round and included. Maximum cable length is 12 in. Works best in rooms with ceilings 8 ft or higher; sloped ceiling adaptable.
