A 26-inch wide, 9-light chandelier in a distressed black finish, featuring Arts and Crafts/Mission styling for dining rooms and great rooms.
The Vara chandelier brings classic Arts and Crafts design to your home with its clean lines and sturdy construction. The distressed black finish adds a rustic, handcrafted feel that complements traditional, mission, and farmhouse interiors. With nine lights, it provides ample illumination for large spaces.
Best for
- Dining rooms with tables seating 6-8 people, hung 30-36 inches above the table
- Great rooms and living rooms with high ceilings, as a central statement piece
- Foyers and entryways with two-story ceilings
- Open-concept spaces where a substantial fixture is needed to define the area
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 10x10 feet - the 26-inch width may overwhelm the space
- Low ceilings under 8 feet - the 30-inch height requires ample clearance
- Modern or contemporary interiors - the mission styling is distinctly traditional
- Damp or wet locations - rated for dry locations only
How bright is it?
This chandelier uses nine bulbs (not included) with a standard medium base (E26). With nine 60W incandescent bulbs, expect about 5400 lumens total - very bright, suitable for a primary light source in a large room. For a softer glow, use lower wattage or dimmable LED bulbs.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on your bulb choice. For a warm, inviting ambiance, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The open design allows light to spread in all directions, creating a warm, ambient glow.
