A durable outdoor ceiling light with a textured black finish and clear seeded glass, designed for covered patios and entryways.
The Kichler Suri outdoor ceiling light combines a nautical-inspired silhouette with a Climates finish that resists fading from sun and salt spray. The composite material with UV protectant ensures long-lasting beauty, backed by a 6-year warranty. Clear seeded glass adds a classic touch while diffusing light softly.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches where protection from direct rain is provided
- Entryways and mudrooms needing a compact, weather-resistant light
- Homes in coastal or high-humidity areas due to the corrosion-resistant finish
- Small outdoor spaces like balconies or alcoves
Not ideal for
- Directly exposed outdoor areas without overhead cover (damp-rated, not wet-rated)
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting (single 60W incandescent max)
- Very large outdoor areas where a larger fixture would be more proportionate
How bright is it?
Uses one 60W incandescent bulb (not included) producing approximately 800 lumens, comparable to a standard household bulb. Suitable for ambient accent lighting rather than primary illumination.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on bulb choice. With a standard 2700K warm white bulb, it emits a soft, inviting glow. Clear seeded glass creates a textured light pattern on surrounding surfaces.
Sizing and fit
Compact dimensions: 6 inches wide by 11 inches high. Fits well on standard 4-inch junction boxes. Ideal for ceilings 8 feet or higher.
