A 9-inch 1-light semi-flush mount ceiling light in a refined black finish, ideal for bedrooms and hallways with low to medium ceilings.
The Sisu collection by Kichler features a continuous transition between canopy and shade, creating a soft, elegant silhouette. In the black finish, this Scandinavian-inspired fixture complements modern and transitional decor.
Best for
- Bedrooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing ambient light above a bed or seating area
- Hallways and corridors where a low-profile fixture is needed
- Entryways and foyers as a single statement or in multiples
- Small living rooms or reading nooks requiring gentle overhead light
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting - this is a 60W incandescent fixture
How bright is it?
Uses one 60W A19 bulb (not included). With a standard 60W incandescent bulb, expect about 800 lumens - similar to a traditional living room lamp, suitable for ambient lighting but not for reading or detailed tasks.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer switch (sold separately).
Sizing and fit
Overall height is 9 inches. The backplate is 5 inches in diameter. Best for ceilings 8 ft or higher. The fixture projects only 9 inches from the ceiling, making it ideal for low ceilings.
