A 14-inch brushed nickel semi-flush mount ceiling light with a white micro-fiber shade and satin etched glass, perfect for living rooms and hallways with standard ceilings.
The Shailene collection combines straight lines with an oversized satin etched glass diffuser, creating a casual yet updated urban look. The brushed nickel finish and white micro-fiber shade soften the light, making it ideal for ambient illumination in transitional spaces.
Best for
- Living rooms 10x12 ft or larger, providing soft ambient light
- Hallways and entryways with 8-9 ft ceilings
- Bedrooms as a primary ceiling light
- Dining rooms with a small table, as a flush mount alternative to a chandelier
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting - this is an ambient fixture
- Rooms with ceilings under 7 ft due to the 10-inch height
How bright is it?
With three 100W incandescent bulbs (not included), this fixture can produce up to 4500 lumens - bright enough for a medium-sized room. For a softer glow, use lower wattage or dimmable LED bulbs.
Light color and feel
The satin etched glass and white micro-fiber shade diffuse light evenly, reducing glare and creating a warm, inviting ambiance. The fixture is not dimmable as specified, but using dimmable bulbs with a compatible dimmer may work (check local codes).
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 14 inches wide and 10 inches high, with a 5-inch diameter backplate. It fits well on ceilings 8 ft or higher. The semi-flush mount design keeps it close to the ceiling, suitable for low to standard ceilings.
