A 40-inch tall, 4-light outdoor wall sconce from Kichler's Rochdale collection, finished in Olde Bronze with vertical rain glass, designed for wet locations.
The Rochdale outdoor wall sconce updates traditional design with a clean, tapered silhouette. The Olde Bronze aluminum frame stands tall and elongated, allowing the vertical rain glass to catch and refract light beautifully. This fixture accommodates four 60W candelabra bulbs (not included) and is ETL-rated for wet locations.
Best for
- Two-story entryways and grand front doors, mounted high for dramatic effect
- Covered porches and patios where a traditional, stately look is desired
- Garages or side entries needing substantial illumination
- Large outdoor walls with at least 40 inches of vertical space
Not ideal for
- Small porches or low ceilings under 9 ft - the fixture is very tall
- Modern or minimalist exteriors - the design is traditional
How bright is it?
With four 60W incandescent bulbs (not included), the fixture can produce up to approximately 3200 lumens total, depending on bulbs used. This is bright enough for primary outdoor lighting of a large entryway or porch.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs installed. For a warm, inviting glow, use 2700K-3000K LED or incandescent bulbs. The vertical rain glass diffuses light softly, reducing glare.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 11 inches wide by 39.75 inches tall, extending 12.75 inches from the wall. The backplate is 5.5 x 22 inches. Ideal for walls with at least 40 inches of vertical clearance and ceilings 10 ft or higher.
